Craig Hutton undertook his undergraduate and PhD degrees at the University of Adelaide before completing postdoctoral studies at the University of California, Berkeley and The University of Melbourne (Australian Postdoctoral Research Fellow). He started his independent academic career at The University of Sydney before returning to The University of Melbourne where he is Associate Professor in the School of Chemistry and Bio21 Institute. His research interests include novel methods for amide bond synthesis, synthesis of biologically active cyclic peptide natural products, and radiolabelled peptides for cancer imaging.
