Professor Rupert Leong is the head of IBD Services and Director of Endoscopy at Concord Hospital in Sydney. He is a Career Development Fellow of the NHMRC and elected to join the International Organization for the study of IBD (IOIBD) in 2025, the first Australian in over 2 decades.
